The War in Ukraine

The war in the Ukraine, which we have all been watching unfolding on our TV screens, is affecting families, children, cities and countries.

While we have been in touch with families in Ukraine and have been assisting with funds and connections, we feel at this time we must do more to address the growing humanitarian crisis.

Our Approach

We have come together to form a humanitarian fund and start deploying capital to assist in a number of immediate needs in the Ukraine

We understand

One of the keys to our approach is our personal and direct communication with Ukrainians at the epicentre of the crisis, as well as volunteer networks, logistics providers, hospitals and government officials.

We get continues reports from our Ukrainian contacts on the situation on the ground, which allows our team to have deep understanding of the ever-changing humanitarian needs. Working together with reliable NGO (non-government organization) partners in the United States, Poland, Romania and in EU we address these needs on a daily bases.

HOW CAN I HELP?

Our current and immediate humanitarian projects:

Logistics (movement of supplies and refugee transportation)

Medical supplies and medical equipment

Help for medical personnel and hospitals

Personal protective equipment and safety gear for medical staff

Why us and why now?

Global Aid Foundation was founded by five executives and a medical doctor, who are naturalized US citizens, and who have deep connections with Ukrainian people, Ukrainian history, language and beliefs. We have all had successful careers and spent years in project execution, procurement, logistics and working with teams globally and in Ukraine.

Seeing the continuing crisis in Ukraine, we believe NOW is the time to act! We know that our funds as well as your kind contributions will allow us to make an immediate and significant impact and save lives.

The timing and what can you do to help?

Time is of the essence. We are seeing devastating situation on the ground in Ukraine. We are on daily calls during which folks from Ukraine have to stop the calls and run to bomb shelters.

We need to act now!

Families are separated and need help. There is a shortage of medicine and doctors.

We have committed hundreds of thousands of dollars to start the fund and would love to see that amount grow with the kind contributions from all of you.
